My "non-drowsy" sinus pills are wiping me out!! They always do, of course, but JEEZ are they doing a number on me today. Ugh. I feel like passing out over the keyboard. Am I also hungry? I can't tell if it's that or exhaustion. (Can you call it "exhaustion" if you didn't do anything physically to make yourself tired? I was trying to think of another word in place of "do anything physically to make yourself tired," like strenuate or something, but that's not a word and I can't think of the word I'm trying to think of. AAAGGGHHHH what are these pills doing to me!!)

Anyway...like I was saying, am I hungry? I can't tell if it's that or the exhaustion. Ma has one of those Chicken Twisters or whatever they're called sitting over there...I had one the other night and it was good...but this one's been sitting out for a few hours...I dunno, should I eat it? It may have gotten a little fungy sitting out like that...but I think I've had worse...like the rice soup that had BUGS in it the other day. (!!!!!!)

Speaking of, I turned on the proch light--what the HELL is a proch light?!--porch light last night and opened the door and EEEEWWWWWW!!! There were these humongo beetles scurrying EVERYWHERE!! I'm used to the earwigs being out there--earwigs, the only thing on God's green Earth worse than ants--but OH MY GOD this was disgusting!! They're those FRIGGIN' BIG BLACK BEETLES that used to (and still DO!) get into my room and make so much noise. AAAAUUUUGGHHHH!! WHAT THE HELL ARE THEY FOR?? I swept the porch off like mad and broke my broom. I had to use the other one. I need a new damn broom!!

But anyway...um...what was I going to talk about?

Damn, I can't even remember by now. Stupid pills...

Oh yeah, I guess that was it. Pills. This is what I wonder. Tehy're--AGH!!--THEY'RE!! supposedly non-drowsy. So WHY DO THEY ALWAYS KNOCK ME OUT?? Someone said they pick up your adrenaline and then the tiredness you feel is when you're crashing. The thing is, I never feel any pick-up in my adrenaline or whatever. I take 'em, I feel the same, then BAM, I want to go to sleep.

I take them so often because they're the only thing around the house that gets rid of my daily headaches. Aspirin doesn't work, most other stuff costs too much. Personally I think my headaches are psychosomatic. In my head. (Well...of COURSE they're in my head, but you know what I mean. ^_^; ) I think the sinus pills are just a placebo. But at least they fool my head.

Damn...



Uh, anyway...I'm wondering if they're just lousy pills and this happens to a lot of people, or if I'm in the unfortunate minority. Man, these things just never fail...

At least my headache is gone--probably because it knocks you out to get rid of it. Like hitting somebody in the head with a sledgehammer to get rid of their pain!

Still no word from the site's webmaster as to what's going on...people are still chatting in the Club and such, and even they're getting annoyed at the lack of response. All kinds of rumors flying around. One person says it may have been the Code Red virus or whatever. Another says it's for good. (I tend to believe that.) Another says it'll be back as a pay site, but affordable; the basic site will still be free (somewhat like this place). That sounds great, but I know it won't happen--guy wasn't making any money off of it, he recently lost his job, how on Earth would he be able to afford such a makeover?

(Besides, how many people would choose to pay for such a place, anyway! I know that I at least couldn't.)

This is what keeps me sitting on the fence: He SHOULD have said something by now. The thing went down on like the 20th, for God's sake. Not a peep, even though he has been logged in at Yahoo!, and I heard he even entered the chatroom, but said nothing. He is the kind of person to quell rumors quickly before they get out of hand. He hasn't said word one to do so this time, and has let us all wander off to other sites, speculating wildly, even within his earshot. WHY has he not at least said "Sorry, I have no idea what's going on"? Unless he has something up his sleeve?

The last time the site had a major upgrade (which was right before it lost its funding, believe it or not), we knew it was going to take place, but we didn't know what was going to happen. Most of us, that is. I know at least one person close to the webmaster had been clued in, and she hinted at what was to come before it did. She's mostly out of the picture this time. So that would leave...NOBODY knowing what to expect.

He hasn't been completely silent in other crises. Yet in times of "positive" change, he has kept mum. Could that be what he has planned now, an actual upgrade, and he's not commenting because he doesn't want to spoil the "surprise" or inspire even MORE debate amongst us?

Eh...

It's a bit too much for me to hope for, but I have no real way to explain his behavior. HEY WEBMASTER, COME ON AND LET YOUR MINIONS KNOW WHAT THE HELL YOU'RE UP TO, HAH?
