I think of posting in forums and in my own items asking or even begging people to review my work. Then I think, that's almost like coercion, I'd like people to just LIKE my work so much that they read it not because I've promised a review in return or something if they do, but because they WANTED to.

This may be why I don't say "I'll review if you review," because I can't very well review something I don't like reading, much less don't WANT to read.

I don't want to twist people's arms into reading my stuff. I want them to see it, say, "Wow, that looks interesting," read it, and then send me their profuse compliments on their own. ;)

(Oh yeah, as well as whatever suggestions they may have for improvement...er somethin'...)

What a way to get reviews, eh?

(This entry has not been prompted by anyone or anything I have seen recently, just by my own feelings. Plus it ended up longer than I thought it would. DAMMIT!)
