I just read someone's opinion elsewhere that our enemies are not just those Muslims who have been cheering in the streets at our troubles, but those who have not been vocally and actively supporting us, those who've been keeping silent. "Bomb 'em all and let Allah sort 'em out," is the cry, and many seem to agree. I found myself feeling immensely ashamed and disgusted at first that these were my fellow Americans and supposedly human beings...but then I thought harder about it.

Hm. You know, I haven't been very vocal about disagreeing with the war because the last time I spoke up I was immediately blasted down and told I was part of the problem, that my viewpoint was just as bad as the beliefs held by the terrorists themselves. So I've kept silent, and while personally grieving for those lost, I haven't really actively supported anything. People SAID we could all agree to disagree, but they didn't mean it. Just seemed not worth the trouble stating my mind if I'd be called a traitor and a bleeding-heart, y'know?

Everyone claims they're not being racist by wanting the Muslims and Arabs dead, so...I know! What say we kill all those AMERICANS who haven't been actively supporting the war cause, too? Just to be fair and all! They're just as bad as the Muslims who've kept quiet, who are just as bad as the terrorists! Right?

Oh yes, how could I forget--while we're bombing the Muslims and the Americans, let's bomb those Canadians who aren't speaking up in support or are disagreeing. Oh! And everyone in Europe. And Asia. Oh, and in Mexico, Central, and South America. And Africa! Oh yeah! I can't forget! We have to check out the opinions of those scientists in Antarctica, too, just to see if they've been vocally supporting the war effort or not. If they haven't been--bomb 'em!

Bomb 'em all! Let God sort 'em out!

Oh...that means you'd have to kill me, too! Hm...well, all in the name of America, I guess! God's gonna have an awful lot of sorting to do, but if it's the American way, count me in!
