Okay now, completely unrelated...

I just remembered last night that a while back I attempted to "rewrite" a story based on Egytian mythology that I wrote years ago, in high school. Way back then I didn't understand the subtleties of point of view so there'd be like ten people sharing a POV in one scene and it's hideous now that I read it, years later. UCK. This was a series of "short" (HAH!!) stories in a sort of anthology (correct word?) called City Of The Sun (a name I'm now reserving for an actual novel). I wanted to rewrite and post them elsewhere, on FanFiction.net, but that site's rapidly going under (don't ask, it just plain sucks over there now, plus I'm extremely lucky if I get even one review saying "I'll keep reading!"--uh-huh, sure you will).

I could continue the rewrites and post them HERE, if this site doesn't go the same way...I think they have some merit, else I wouldn't bother with them. One would have to be ditched, as it was about how Anubis found out about his parentage and I've since changed that line of events in my novel Horus. The one that I started rewriting, I think, was about the god Sobek. Another one I'd like to do is about Anubis, how he came to have a daughter yet apparently no wife! Well, somebody had to be responsible SOMEWHERE! It gets sappy, and I really have to change a lot of details, but I'd still like to do it...

So rather than write that which has not yet been written (which I STILL want to do), how about fix up that which has been written but is just sitting around gathering dust?

Hm, well, I'll probably try. Then I'll try the others.

I really have to finish Part 39. :(
