I decided to apply for Elfwood again. Remember Elfwood? Remember me applying sometime back in SEPTEMBER or something? You wouldn't remember me sitting here fuming after never receiving any acceptance or rejection notice because I never wrote about that. But I've been fuming about it nonetheless.

Shortly after I submitted my pictures, I read on their news page that the ability to update the galleries was down "temporarily." Oh, well wasn't THAT nice. GREAT timing. I kept checking back for a couple of weeks, down, down, down. HOW long does it take them to get the necessary "parts"?

Anyway, a few times recently I checked out the gallery of a user there whose art I like and I saw she updated it. How? I went there tonight and checked out the news page. Lots of new fantasy and sci-fi artists! How nice! And I WAS NEVER AMONG THEM!

I liked to think that my e-mail maybe got lost in the shuffle after the crash or whatever, but I'm still pissed off. TWO FRIGGING MONTHS! What, did you guys REJECT me and forget to say anything about it??

So I just applied again. Do you know what? I bet they'll CRASH again too. Their search engine was offline way back then. It's STILL offline now.

HOW long does it take to fix these things?

Sure, yeah, I know, it's only a couple of people working for free, with thousands upon thousands of users. But COME ON. Surely a search engine can't be THAT hard to fix?

AND it can't be that damn hard to let a potential member know if they've even been accepted or not!

Just watch. They'll crash again. My luck, always.

My art sucks next to the art of everyone else on that site anyway.
