Title: Part 94: The Student Succeeds
Description: Charmian ponders what she is to do next, and it involves a risky promise to fulfill...
By: Tehuti, Lord Of The Eight

this...um...yesterday morning and got it up to about 18kb...yow...that from about nine, and before that it was six-something. I was stuck on this part, but maybe I've figured out how to move on to the next part of the story. Oddly enough it's Moon Wolf's pendant that helped me out.

What is it with necklaces in that story?

I really wish A&E would show something GOOD instead of all this dumb Biography stuff. I HATE Biography. Do you know what else I hate? I LOVE CSI: Miami because I love CSI (the new one isn't as captivating as the old one though), BUT Kim Delaney's hair is SO damned ugly that it actually distracts me from the show. What is she thinking? That hair is SO UGLY! It's like some RAT'S nest on her head! Can't she at least tie it back in a tail?? You'd think that on a crime scene she would, so she wouldn't get strands of it all over. Not that it looks like it's going anywhere, it's so MATTED. BLAGH!!

I swear to God, this is the only time I can think of that something so minor distracts me so much from something that's otherwise good. I liked the cast much more without Kim Delaney (which was when they first showed up on CSI. PLEEEEEEASE KIM DELANEY! Do something, anything, about that HAIR! Every time I see her I just want to shave it all off! Even Sara Sidle, the VERY annoying brunette on CSI, doesn't annoy me nearly so much as this.

*cough* Er...sorry. That wasn't even what I came in here to type, but at least I got it off my back. Sheesh, I'm committing a ton of typos I have to go back and correct. I'm not as good a typist as I used to be, but at least I can proofread so nobody'll ever know! ^_^

Coz-Man's been obsessed with the bathroom lately. More specifically the bathtub. A bit of a cool breeze comes in from the basement through the hole in the wall around the hot-water knob (our bathroom is in very, very crappy shape), and he stares at that and pokes his paw into it, and...just lies in there. For hours on end. Very weird kitty.

Hold please, I need to refresh a window or something so I'm not kicked off. My journal entries have been known to take up a half hour or even an hour or so of my time, which is probably because of all the typos! (Checking out the official CSI site for the proper spelling of Sidle's name--I was correct!--and then getting distracted by Nick Stokes's profile--and then going back again to make sure I spelled his name right also (correct again!)--helped, too.)

AAAGGHHHH!! We have this dumb local construction commercial evidently written by MORONS! It both uses the word "deteriation" (it's DETERIORATION, you MORONS!) AND misuses a verb, with "its colors reflects the sun's heat..." IDIOTS! At least learn proper words and verb forms before broadcasting your commercial regionally!

I found an old letter from Mya yesterday! I was too afraid to read it, so just looked at the envelope. Her name is Mya H. (withheld for security reasons, of course) and she's married to a man named Rich, and they live in Sparta, Michigan...at least...they did, back in '99. :( I have no idea if she's still married to him, nor if they still live there; she tended to move around a lot. I wish I knew where I could ask about her, to get back in contact. I can remember she had an older sister named Meeka and a little brother named Daniel, but that's about it, and if somebody doesn't know her, that doesn't help. I had another dream about her the other night and again it involved me going to write to her or hanging out with her like old times. *sigh* I'm not quite as desperate as I was before about the island, but I still keep having thoughts of it. Maybe I SHOULD try to go there alone next year. Without Ma, I mean. And maybe a bit later in the year after all, for reasons I won't go into. I wish some of you (readers) had looser plans! I'd be willing to tell you about the place first hand. (I say that now, but if it ever really did happen by some freak accident, I'd probably go chicken...)

I KNOW I had something else to say in here...*sigh* Did I mention I uploaded...oh, right. I already mentioned that. Well then, I guess I ran out of stuff to say. Maybe I'll post another entry later. I can tell you are so en-friggin'-thused. :P

Tar...
