I Am Here, Skew! :D

11-29-02 @ 5:53 am EST

I got busy with a slew of things at once...taking on more than I can chew, or swallow, or whatever. Firstly, I was working on my Ameni Chronicles website...yes...I put one up...*cringe* With GeoCities' policy, they have every right to take it down (as if they don't have the right to take down my other sites?), but I've seen plenty of slash fiction sites on their server. What would be the big difference between them and mine? It's not like I have pictures. >: P I'm leery of putting up more of that here as I might not have the space (and there is a LOT of that writing), so I can post it there, and maybe refer anybody if they want. Don't think anybody wants, but just in case, if you read that stuff, well, it has its own site now. *gah*

Secondly, I was working on my Radioactive Playground site at Powow. Take a look at the main page now to see the color scheme and how far I've gotten!

And oh, all right, you twisted my arm...I finished the 1999 tour, so here is the first page, and from there you can view the entire tour. Just not the rest of the site. All the pages look the same until I write the text anyway, so nyar. :P

Yah, I know I plug it too much, but I'm jazzed that I'm finally redoing the thing. Just too bad I couldn't redo it on GeoCities, as that's where all the visitors go, but they're too restrictive. PLEASE cross your fingers that these guys won't start restricting now too; I remember that Tripod used to offer 50mb, for example, and now they're down to 20, with limited bandwidth. I'm currently taking up about 20mb, and it says on the site how many pages are expected. That's just Mackinac pictures. I really want a nice site for them, so people can take a tour if they can't visit in real life.

Thirdly...I FOUND A DREAM JOURNAL SITE! And unlike some of the others which CLAIM to be free but are NOT (*coughcough*www.dreamstop.com*coughcough*liars*cough*), it's FREE!

http://www.dreamjournal.org/dj/index.cfm

I found it in somebody's link onsite here. Coolness! I tried out DeadJournal once (can't register at LiveJournal anymore), but I don't know...just didn't like it. Now here is a site devoted to the subject, and I can even search and compare dreams. Granted...mine aren't showing up in the listings, as when I enter them by the date I originally posted them, rather than by the date I really AM posting them now, it shoves them way back in the listings. *sigh* But maybe when I get to new ones somebody'll notice them. I can't overly customize the color scheme on my journal, which I actually prefer this time, as at DJ I got too caught up in the details and it got frustrating.

Oh! Here's my dream journal! :D

You can see that I have a LOT of adding to do...for each dream, you put in some keywords, emotions, and thoughts on the matter, as well as fill out some criteria like how cohesive the dream was, if you knew it was a dream, if it was stressful or not, etc. Neat, eh? Anyway.

Fourthly...is that a word?...I was working on Part 99.

Gah. You know, I did not finish it until like an hour and a half ago. I REALLY need to stop procrastinating...

I cried while writing it; I hope it turned out as emotional as it was in my head. Probably not, but eh...enjoy anyway, if you're reading that thing.

Fifthly, I've still been active at DeviantArt, commenting on pictures and uploading a few of my own. And sometime this morning, I'm going to have to do my proofreading for the Kaleidoscope newsletter. Gah! I'm not even sure when that's due.

I have some e-mails to reply to, like the people who wrote me at my webmail. Haven't gotten to them yet. *sigh*

J., who I've been worried about financially, got a job! Woohoo! I hope it works out for him...

And {user:poetnb} was incredibly thoughtful to me yet again. THANK YOU POET! :)

I'm pretty sure I had something else to say, but I really can't think of it right now. :/ I just wanted to get my...two or three readers... :) ...caught up on why I haven't been in here. Just been juggling things a bit, and had to set Skew aside. Truthfully, I haven't felt like writing in here for much of November, but it's probably just a phase. If you'll look back at June you'll see I had relatively few entries, only 21, whereas September 2001 had scads of them, over a hundred...hmm...wonder why. :P

Well, I have to post this and get working again...though I hope not to neglect this thing for TOO long yet again. Tar!...

I am yesterday; I know tomorrow.
