Is My Timing Bad Or What?

02-06-03 @ 11:20 am EST

First off: I just heard of new posting limits at LiveJournal. Free users are now limited to between 3-5 posts a day (I'm not sure which). There are potentially more limits coming in the near future as they survey things.

First response: I'm glad I got all my backing up done when I did, as I had as many as six entries a day in some parts, maybe more. *whew*

Second and lingering response: Does my timing suck or what? I FINALLY, after wanting to join the site for ages, get to join...and now the limits are imposed. *sigh* Story of my life. :( I don't usually post as many as three entries a day anymore (unless it's all that myth stuff and such, and then, well...I'm not sure how I'll get that posted), but I'm more worried about the limits to come. Length of posts is a big one for me. They can get pretty long, especially when I'm sharing info. Will I just start limiting how much I post in my primary journal to fit it in at LJ? Or will I just have to post a note at LJ directing people to my other journal? Well, it's not like many people would care anyway, I don't know why I worry...I don't have a huge fanbase or anything...

I'm just not sure how I'm going to work around it if I have more than three entries on one day. And the limits to come have me anxious. I really do have bad timing. I actually considered joining LJ a long time ago before they switched to invitation only, but I thought you had to download a client and I didn't understand it. The instructions were so confusing that I didn't even know you could do it from the Web, until much later...by then it was too late. Hm.

Well, lest I be accused of whining I will back off of that. I finally got it done:
