Don't feel like typing up an entry, so here you go again...more from my short-lived high school journal.

Saturday, January 15 1994: Not much. Slept in late--felt really good. Watched several episodes of Star Trek [Note--freaking hell! I do NOT remember being such a Trekkie!!], Dad took my bedclothes to wash them. My mattress looked like a murder site. Didn't do much; read some, played with the cat & she attacked me, yahoo. Started to look for KK's 2 & 3, couldn't find, threw some junk away. Didn't find them but did find couple things I was missing & a lot of funny quotes. "LeVANta." Found out missing song to Horus soundtrack--All This Time. Ma got batteries for Chinese thing--hilarious! "Nee how! Nee how! Nayo how ta chung kwa!" (Hello, hello, where is a good restaurant?) Typed some earlier, listened to some music. Last night typed & played cd's. Thought: What are those in alternate realities doing right now?

Sunday, January 16 1994: Not much. Woke up an hour early. Better sleep tonight! Watched funny episode of Star Trek. Lwaxana Troi was taken by Ferengi Damon Bok & Picard had to pretend he loved her to get her back! Hilarious. Thought I had more episodes but didn't. Earlier had read for B. L., study, think I cleaned some more junk up but can't remember. Yeah I did! Found KK2 & 3. Finally! Got a trashbag of trash! Tried to take nap in afternoon, kept getting distracted. Love Potion #9 on--funny! Lady being chased by mob of Shriners. Finished reading, started on Ghosts. Watched part of Home Videos, got mad at Dad for getting mad at my questions. Writing this day late--forgot last night. Thought: What determines our sense of humor?

Monday, January 17 1994: Got lots of vocab in Phys.! Tons! Chris Maxwell had to see my Wizard #29. In B. L. got questions while several went for oral exams. Am. Hist., got Civil War info--in art drew, I think, Tim Whitmore in chair. Tried to talk, other Chris said shut up. Rude! At lunch wanted to sit by Ben so he could see my new D for D thing, but he was at far end. Everyone loved my Chinese thing! Michelle had to borrow it for choir. In bathroom Rachel kicked door on Michelle twice! In Sp. I think we reviewed--don't remember well (writing this a day late). In math I no.ed note pages so I can find things easily. Ma had day off, Dad too (ticked he didn't remind me!), took nap on his bed, watched X-Files. Thought: What will we become in the future?

Tuesday, January 18 1994: *--Michelle, to pizza: "Speaking of what is this,--what is this?" School, tick! Took notes in phys.--can use on exams, I think. Good news in B. L.--don't have to do orals or essays. Yea! Kept forgetting anyway! Am. Hist., notes on 1920's, let Stephanie Sichta see my B. L. notes. In art drew Ms. K in chair--funny face! Tom Fisher asked to buy my Wizard. At lunch Ben was gone. Mashed potatoes & gravy--mmm!* In Sp. worked on exam essay words, in math on notes. Exams start tomorrow--the helicopters are a'flying! Got to send book back to BOMC. Dorks. Ma had day off. Dad & I went to Glens, got some stuff; cashier, as I did, accidentally made monkey toy squeal. Ha ha! Downed 2 cups of boullion, bagel bites, rice, water. Ohhh--hope I don't get sick! Hope I stop going to bathroom!! Thought: Are we somebody else's fiction?

Wednesday, January 19 1994: Exams, aaahh!! Today went fast! In 1st hr. studied for Sp.--can use some notes in phys., but I don't think I'll do good. In B. L. studied that; in Am. Hist. listened to psych questions, Mr. M said now results will be unfair. At end of hour he asked hist. questions, incl. kind of gun that shot Lincoln--425 Magnum(?) was 1 answer! In art studied for Sp. & helped Michelle w/ same; in Sp. studied, of course, then took exam. Not too bad. Sat by myself at lunch, then on to 6th hr.. Mrs. Bach went over some things; half hr. went quickly. Left, came back for exam. Not too bad either. No hard proofs, whew! Took nap after watching shows, Star Trek. Would be great if school were cancelled, sigh! Thought: What goes thru Mother Nature's mind at these times?

Thursday, January 20 1994: 2nd day of exams. Half day today. Went to phys., studied a bit before test. Wasn't that hard--muscles a little confusing though. Then on to Brit. Lit.--helicopters. Wasn't that bad either--mostly matching, a couple easy essays, & a long essay comparing Faust & Macbeth (actually a choice). Came home, got mail, took nap on couch (aahh! (in the good sense of the word)). Dad woke me up when he got home, I dozed for a while, then got up to watch my shows, Star Trek later on. Got really worried about history exam, tried to study w/ Dad, got upset & started crying. 'Copters didn't work. Studied for a while, then went to dance. I've been to bed on time for 2 weeks! Thought: What makes something a sport?

Friday, January 21 1994: *--really cold & windy waiting for bus, brr! Final day of exams. Sigh!* History 1st hr. I hate that class. Studied on bus, went to history. Don't think I did too bad, but I know so far I got at least 2 wrong (probably much more than that!). Rearranged movies on back shelf, watched Mr. M grade (Custard, Globe Theater, ?), looked at psychology book. In art looked through exams, chose 1 & drew alien birds chasing each other--for essay wrote 3 feelings it provoked. Funny picture. Michelle drew pegasus--Des, girl praying at grave. Got my fig. drawings, Ms. K opened shade--snow drift halfway up! Got out of school, weather bad. Took nice long nap! Watched shows, later on about lost ark & "Sorority Girls & Creature from H---" (USA, of course!). Thought: Where is the origin of the universe?
