In addition I'd like to present ten fantasy animal prompts I came up with this morning. I was aiming for twenty-five, but these turned out to be PRETTY HARD. There are only so many interesting things an animal can do, I guess. I would use these ideas myself if I could find a way to fit them into Manitou Island. o_o

1. turtles whose shells act as scrying devices
2. chinchillas with fur of real silver
3. spiders who spin threads of metal
4. caterpillars who emerge from their cocoons as gemstones
5. porcupines whose quills can be removed and used as pens
6. snails whose shells carry hidden messages
7. peacocks whose tail feathers ring like chimes
8. giraffes whose spots form maps
9. deer whose shed antlers turn into trees
10. dragonflies which, when strung together, form invisible cloaks

Maybe sometime when I'm more inspired I can continue that list. It seems to have lots of bugs on it, doesn't it? Oh well. Somebody enjoy.

Tomorrow is D-Day, in more ways than one. Stay tuned for a three-year Skew tradition. :)

I am yesterday; I know tomorrow.
