IR 05-14-05 @ 10:21 am EDT I discovered how to take infrared pictures using a digital camera and a pair of 3D glasses. http://pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/social_phobe/album?.dir=a9b3&.src=ph To figure out if you have an IR-capable digital camera: Turn on the LCD preview screen, point a remote control at the camera lens, and press the power button on the remote. If you can see the little light flashing on the remote on the LCD screen, then your camera has IR capabilities. To take IR pics using the glasses, just take a pair of red and blue 3D glasses, affix the lenses together to make a purple lens, hold it over the camera lens, and shoot. Make sure the flash is turned off. It only works outside on sunny days though. And shows up best on things that are green, like plants. Go figure that the last two days have been rainy, and the leaves are slow in coming out. But there's my completely accidental science entry. I owe some e-mail responses. I will get to them. I'm being avoidant lately because of how I've been feeling. I think after the way so many people have failed to get back to me, I deserve the right to fail to get back to others now and then. Tar... I am yesterday; I know tomorrow. <- No more - Worthless -> |
