I should be going to the island today! :D I hope I see a lot of interesting things!

I'm going to try to find Anne's Tablet, the Cass Memorial, Sinclair Grove, the remains of the old lime kiln, the natural amphitheater, Vista Rock (though I HIGHLY doubt I will even catch a glimpse, even IF it's still standing...), the Soldier's Garden, Eagle Point Cave, maybe peek for the Northeast Crack (though again I doubt it, I will be lucky even to access the cave--I hear it's set up HIGH! -_- ), the top of Robinson's Folly (never seen it from above), and maybe see if I can spy where the Fairy Arch once stood. And hopefully see some other things along the way before heading past the East Bluff cottages (IF it's allowed...don't want a repeat of LAST year >_< ) and back into town. Maybe pass the old Indian dormitory on my way through the park. Cave of the Woods and Coffee/Indian Pipe Trails will have to wait for next year. :*(

I want to try to gather little bits of soil from places too so I can put it in my little glass vial necklace and always keep a part of the island with me. :)

Hope my legs and time hold out. I'd also like to peek in the bookstore, if it's open. o_o Really don't know, on a Sunday.

I hope I get a lot of interesting pictures that turn out. And that I don't drop my cameras in the lake... -_-

At least most of the East Bluff is public so even if I do get lost, I shouldn't be trespassing. I think I would rather be lost than trespassing. You might ask, HOW could someone get lost on an island with a circumference of eight miles?? Well, *I* could. It would be cool, I think, to get stranded on the island overnight and get to spend the night in the woods. Well, not really, unless I had a flashlight. But if I had a flashlight, then it would be cool. ^_^

I will never get to experience that island at night. *big sigh* -_-

Well, I thought I'd log online early and post this, and surf a tad more before having to log off. I want to try to catch the 9:30 ferry again, which means leaving around 8, which means waking Ma up around 7:15. >_< I really hope it goes as good as or even better than last year...my first route, Crow's Nest Trail, goes RIGHT up beside the fort, and I'm anxious that I'll be kicked out by a bunch of stylish period soldiers or...Victorian ladies...or something. o_o Well, it could happen.
